Refunds

Updated 23 Oct 2026 · Play Accounts and payments

The short version

There are no change-of-mind refunds in general. Two things sit alongside that:

  • Faults are always put right. If something you paid for doesn't work as described, or never arrived, we'll refund it, fix it or replace it. That's your right under consumer law where you live, including the Australian Consumer Law, and it never counts against your allowance.
  • Your self-service allowance. Each Earth Ablaze account can refund 2 payments in any rolling 12 months, across all Earth Ablaze games. Each refund has to be within 30 days of the payment, and you don't need to give a reason.

The full policy is in the terms at https://accounts.earthablaze.com/terms#refunds.

Using your allowance

Use it from your account page at https://accounts.earthablaze.com/account. It covers:

  • One-off purchases, even if you've used them. The item comes off your account.
  • The first payment of a subscription. It refunds that payment and cancels the subscription.

If the payment isn't on your account page, for example because a game still takes payments on its own site, email support@earthablaze.com from the address you paid with, within 30 days of the payment. The same allowance applies.

What it doesn't cover

  • Tips.
  • Later subscription renewals. You can cancel any time, and the plan stays on to the end of the period you've paid for. There are no partial refunds for the rest of a period.
  • App Store and Google Play purchases. Apple and Google decide those refunds under their own policies, so ask them through the store you bought in.
  • Free unlocks and codes. They aren't purchases, so there's nothing to refund.

Faults are different. If any of these doesn't work as described or didn't arrive, contact support and we'll put it right.

What a refund takes back

A refund takes back what that payment bought, in every game:

  • a refunded item or bundle comes off your account
  • a refunded first subscription payment cancels the subscription straight away
  • anything that payment earned as a bonus, such as a badge, goes too

A game that checks what you own offline notices the refund at its next check-in, within 90 days at most.

Disputing a charge with your bank

If you dispute a payment with your bank (a chargeback), what it paid for comes off your account. If a charge looks wrong, please contact support first. We'll put a fault right, and it won't use up your allowance.

If a game closes

If a game ever shuts down, its plans stop billing first, and anything you've paid for a period we can't provide is refunded.
