Deleting your account and your data

Deleting your Earth Ablaze account
Sign in at https://accounts.earthablaze.com/account, scroll to Delete your account and press Delete account. You'll be asked to type a short phrase to confirm. It can't be undone.
What goes
Deleting the account removes it from every Earth Ablaze game at once:
- your email address and every sign-in session
- what you own in every game, and the codes you've used
- your Stripe customer records. Any card subscription is cancelled first, so nothing charges again.
Each game is told within a day and deletes its own data for your account.
If you pay for anything through the App Store or Google Play, manage or cancel it in that store.
What stays
- The payments ledger. Each payment's amount, item and Stripe ids are a business record we keep for seven years for tax. It holds no email address.
- Once-per-account codes. For a code that works once per account, a one-way hash of your email address stays against that code until it expires. It stops anyone deleting an account and signing up again to use the code twice.
- Payment processors' records. Stripe, Apple and Google keep their own payment records under their own policies.
Operation Overlord
Operation Overlord has its own account page for now, at https://operationoverlord.earthablaze.com/account/. Its Delete account button removes your email, linked browsers, sessions, purchases and equipped items, and deletes your Stripe customer record, which cancels any subscription straight away.
To clear your guest id and display name, clear the site's data in your browser settings. You won't be able to reclaim a seat in a match you're already in.
Operation Freedom and Operation Epic Fury
These games don't have accounts today. The only thing that identifies you is the email address you gave at checkout or when redeeming a free code. To see, correct or delete what's held about you, email privacy@earthablaze.com from that address. Clearing the game's site data in your browser removes what's stored on your device.
Asking about your data
For any game, email privacy@earthablaze.com from the address on your account and we'll tell you what we hold, correct it or delete it.
