| + and − | Zoom in and out |
| [ and ] | Slower or faster |
| Arrow keys | Pan the map |

Who controls the speed
Only the match host can change speed, from the speed picker in the top bar (×0.25 to ×4) or with [ and ]. Everyone sees a line in the event feed when it changes, and other players can see the current speed but can't change it.
In a practice game you're the host, so the speed picker and the pause button are yours. Your next practice game starts at the speed you picked last.
In a 3D battle
When a major battle starts you get ten seconds to choose: let the dice decide, or take command in 3D. In the 3D battle, box-select your units, right-click to move or attack, and spend command points on barrages, smoke and air strikes.
The battle has its own speed control (×0.5, ×0.75 or ×1, or the - and + keys). When two players command the same battle, it runs at the slower one's pick. Skirmishes and practice games also offer ×1.5.
On a phone
On a small screen the map fills the display and panels open as a bottom sheet. Phones always auto-resolve battles with dice, so you won't be offered a 3D battle there. Campaign speed suits phones best: a cycle lasts hours, so you can check in a few times a day.
