Your campaign is saved
The game saves your campaign in your browser once a game day, and just before you leave the page to sign in or pay. Open the game again and choose Carry on on the start screen. It says where you were: the day and date, planning the night, or the night under way.
- A save is on this device and this browser only, unless you're signed in.
- Clearing the site's data removes it.
- Starting a new campaign replaces it, and it's removed when the campaign ends.
- A Daily Raid is never saved.
Carrying on from another device
If you're signed in with your Earth Ablaze account, a copy of your campaign is also kept on your account. Only one is kept, and only you can load it. On another device, sign in and choose Carry on from your account on the start screen. If that device has its own save, the start screen tells you the account's copy replaces it.
You don't need an account to play. As a guest, your campaign stays on your device.
What's stored on your device
In your browser's local storage: an anonymous statistics ID, your settings (sound, music, whether you've seen the tips), your Daily Raid name and which days' ranked runs you've used, and your campaign. If you sign in, there's also a session cookie and a signed licence listing what you own. See the game's privacy policy for the details.
What needs a connection
The game runs on your device. The map's terrain comes from an online tile service, and signing in, buying and the Daily Raid leaderboard need a connection too. Purchases work offline for a while; see US Special Units packs and tips.
Known limits
- It plays in the browser, with no install. There's no iPhone or Android app.
- It's the first campaign, and more close-up scenes are still to come.
- The places and forces are real, but what happens in a campaign is invented.
